Eligibility Criteria 

  • Essential:  
    • Must be the citizen of India.  
    • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in law from a recognized university. 
    • Students in the final semester shall be eligible to apply for the exam.   
    • Minimum Age should be 23 years, and Maximum Age should be 40 years.  
  • Additional:  
    • Candidates must submit a character certificate from their last attended educational institution or current employer. 
    • Proficiency in Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan. 

Examination Structure  

Preliminary Examination: 

  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions) 
  • Total Marks: 100 
  • Duration: 2 hours 
  • Subjects Covered: 
    • Law: 70% 
    • Test of Hindi and English language proficiency: 30% 
    • No negative marking 

Main Examination: 

  • Qualification Criteria: 
    • Candidates must secure at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) to qualify for the Main Examination. 
  • Type: Descriptive 
  • Total Marks: 300 
  • Duration: Each paper is 3 hours 
  • Subjects and Marks Distribution: 
    • Paper I: Law - 100 marks 
    • Paper II: Law - 100 marks 
    • Paper III: Language - 100 marks 
      • Essay Writing in Hindi: 50 marks 
      • Essay Writing in English: 50 marks 
  • Qualification Criteria: 
    • Candidates must secure at least 35% marks in each paper and 40% in aggregate (30% for SC/ST category in aggregate). 

Interview: 

  • Total Marks: 35 
  • Final Merit List: Prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview.
