Introduction
The Madhya Pradesh Assistant District Public Prosecution Officer Examination is conducted by the MP Public Service Commission to recruit suitable candidates for the post of Assistant Public Prosecution Officers.

Eligibility Criteria
- The person appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must have graduated from an authorized university with a legal degree or its equivalent.
- Preference will be given to:
- Candidates with first division in their law degree
- Candidates with two years of bar experience
- According to the official notification, the minimum age should be 21 years, and the upper age limit is 40 years.
MP APO Selection Process
The selection process for the MPPSC APO Exam 2024 consists of two stages:
- Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Interview
Stage 1: Written Examination
- The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 450
- Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)
- Marking Scheme:
- +3 marks for each correct answer.
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer.
- The question paper is available in both Hindi and English.

- Preliminary Examination:
- The first stage will be an offline exam conducted using an OMR sheet.
- Answer Key & Objections:
- The provisional answer key will be uploaded on the official website www.mppsc.mp.gov.in.
- Candidates can raise objections within 7 days by paying ₹100 per objection.
- If the challenge is valid, the amount will be refunded.
- Final answer key decisions will be made by the subject expert committee.
- Evaluation Criteria:
- If an incorrect option is marked as correct in the official answer key, it will be corrected and re-evaluated.
- If a question has multiple correct answers, all correct options will be awarded marks.
- If no correct answer exists for a question, it will be removed from the evaluation.
- Merit List & Qualification:
- Candidates scoring 3 times the available vacancies will qualify for the next stage.
- For certain reserved categories, 10-15% additional candidates may be shortlisted.
- Minimum 30% marks in each section are required for eligibility.
Stage 2: Interview
- Total Marks: 50
- Nature: Personal Interview
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: No minimum qualifying marks required.
Final Selection & Scoring Formula
- Total Marks (Written Exam + Interview): 500
- Scoring Formula:
- Total Score = (3 × Number of Correct Answers) - (1 × Number of Incorrect Answers)
- Final Selection:
- The final selection will be based on the written exam + interview scores.
- No re-evaluation or rechecking requests will be entertained.
- Interview & Appointment:
- Interview attendance is mandatory.
- The final merit list will be published on the official website.
- No correspondence regarding rechecking or reassessment will be entertained.
Qualifying Marks
- General category candidates must score 40% marks separately in Section A and Section B
- For SC/ST/OBC candidates of MP, there is a relaxation of 10% marks
- Minimum qualifying marks for these categories is 30%
